Artist Statement

During COVID life as we know it was uncertain and scary. It was a time that challenged my priorities and who I am as an artist and what I felt the world needed. It was a chaotic, confusing, and sad time. So, I spent my time as an artist developing my personal vocabulary, experimenting with materials and searching for clarity. My art reflects this. It turned out to be a pivoted and inwardly productive time for which I am ever grateful.
